Richard, I assume you're talking about Jaiku (not Twitter). I am very happy to see I get email notifications so I won't miss anything. I am not having any luck yet getting mobile to work for anything but Facebook. It's some problem with my account or Sprint but I haven't called 'em yet to work it out.

Doesn't matter, the answers is good, and if you get notifications to e-mail that's useful.

with gmail you also get the threaded notifications there. Means you can read the conversation on the phone, via the web and on gmail.

Should try m.jaiku.com, see how much you can do from there. Otherwise there's an international text number but that'd be expensive.
